Microlay DentalFab® is specially designed to bring 3D printing to dentistry professionals. Its speed, accuracy, resolution and compactness make it perfect for any kind of dental lab. Its exclusive software is designed to make even the trickiest jobs easy, and anyone can learn to use it in a matter of minutes.

The process begins with an intraoral scan, a less invasive experience than the traditional procedure, which will come as a great relief to patients. The digital file is then captured by the scanner and can be printed it in a few clicks. With Microlay DentalFab® you can use a USB flash drive or the Wi-Fi connection from your PC or Mac.

In just a few hours, you can obtain surgical guides, models, castable prosthetics and much more, thus speeding up and simplifying your workflow.  Another recent breakthrough is the ability to 3D print temporary biocompatible pieces right at your desk.

Anodized aluminum finishes

Details are very important for Microlay, which is why we take extreme care with the design and finish of every part of the machine, especially those that will come into direct contact with the user.

We have chosen aluminum with a nice anodized finish as the material for both the printing surface and the bucket. This minimizes the natural wear of the parts in contact with the resin, and enables considerable savings on replacements.

7”  Touchscreen

Microlay DentalFab® is meant to make difficult jobs easy. Among other features, it has a touch screen with a clean and intuitive interface for handling routine procedures. Load the digital file (STL, SLC, ZIP), select a profile to match the resin that you are going to use, then go ahead and print. It’s that easy.

Another useful feature is the monitoring camera fitted below the bucket so you can keep a constant check on what’s going on.

WIFI Connectivity

We are aware of the importance of time saving and comfort in day-to-day life in dental labs and clinics. Microlay DentalFab® includes a web interface so you can monitor and control absolutely everything through your PC, Tablet or Smartphone from wherever you happen to be. You can print a file from the computer where you have installed your CAD/CAM software remotely using local Wi-Fi.

Integrated  Post-processing chamber

Once the parts are printed with the light-cured resin, they require post-processing before use. Thanks to its integrated post-processing chamber equipped with two 18W (9W+9W) UV-365nm +405nm led lamps,  Microlay DentalFab® simplifies the whole process. You won’t need to buy any other device to obtain a perfect finish. Its rotating plate facilitates uniform curing.

SmartLift® Technology

Print managing is Microlay DentalFab®’s pièce de résistance. Using complex formulas, it manages the printing process smartly and efficiently and optimizes printing time − actually reducing it by 400%.

Untethered Printing

Microlay DentalFab® doesn’t need to be plugged into a computer because it already has one integrated. Its two SBC enable internal layering and smart print management, thus removing the need for expensive printing software licenses.

Amazing Resolution

Thanks to its UV filtered light and Full HD (1920 x 1080 px) projector, DentalFab® is able to print to an amazing resolution of 55 microns in the horizontal XY plane and 10 microns in the vertical Z plane. The degree of detail and reliability is astonishing and the finish is simply spectacular.

Dual membrane  FlexVat technology

The bucket of the Microlay DentalFab® is a small masterpiece of technology. Its Rig-Flex® dual membrane with FEP and PMMA allows acceleration of the printing process and easy detachment of individual layers. It also ensures a plane base and repeatability of the initial layers, which are critical.

Compatible with  most of  the resins from third party manufacturers.

The filtered UV light source guarantees compatibility with most of the resins in the market, including 365, 385 and 405nm resins and the white and transparent resins which are problematic with other printers.
